The British security group G4S will acquire the Danish facility services group,ISS , for nearly 6 billion euro. Last year, the two groups grossed more than 18 billion euro of revenue. The new group will be the largest player in the world in security and facility management.

The General Assembly of shareholders of G4S still has to approve the acquisition. On top of that, the European merger authority also needs to approve the deal.

An important question will be whether G4S will be able to create a lot of additional value in this transaction. Investors doubt the possibilities of synergies between the two companies and push the stock of G4S down on the London Stock Exchange by 20%.
