As a company it is often difficult to measure up to suppliers. Bridgewater combines contracts from several companies, which allows them to negotiate better conditions with suppliers. Reviewing twelve different non-strategic cost areas has led to savings ranging from 10 to 60 percent, with a total of 200.000 euros per year.
It's a real challenge for companies who aren't big nor small to have a precise view on the costs in each department. This is why we called on Bridgewater. The main reason was to work in the most efficient way. If I look back from 2012 up to today, I can say we save more than 100.000 EUR a year thanks to Bridgewater's intervention.
The market is becoming more competitive. After two rounds of negotiations we finally decided to stay with Worldline, and we have saved 25% on precessing and more than 40% on the purchase of terminals, compared to prices we had negotiated in 2013.
